Camouflage to Canvas

Before you explore this space, I want to be upfront with you — because transparency is one of the most important things I can offer. Please take a moment to read through the information below. It protects you and it protects me, and I believe you deserve to know exactly what this space is and what it isn't.

I Am Not a Licensed Therapist

Jeanette Pizarro-Harpe and Camouflage to Canvas are not licensed mental health therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, counselors, social workers, or clinical practitioners of any kind. Nothing offered through this website, studio, classes, programs, podcast, books, or any other Camouflage to Canvas platform constitutes therapy, psychotherapy, mental health treatment, or clinical services.

Jeanette holds a certification as an art therapy facilitator, a role that supports creative expression in a structured, intentional way. This is fundamentally different from licensed art therapy or any other form of licensed clinical practice. Art therapy facilitation is not a substitute for professional mental health care.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, living with a diagnosed condition, or need clinical support, please seek care from a licensed mental health professional. A facilitator can hold space. A therapist can treat. Both have value — but they are not the same thing.

Nature of Services Offered

The classes, workshops, programs, and experiences offered by Camouflage to Canvas are designed for creative exploration, personal expression, skill development, and community connection. They are rooted in the belief that art-making can be a meaningful tool for self-discovery and healing, but they are not clinical interventions.

Participation in any Camouflage to Canvas offering does not establish a therapeutic, clinical, or professional healthcare relationship of any kind between you and Jeanette Pizarro-Harpe or Camouflage to Canvas.

No Guarantee of Results

Results vary from person to person. Testimonials, stories, and experiences shared on this website or in connection with Camouflage to Canvas reflect individual experiences and are not a guarantee that you will achieve the same outcome.

Art and creative expression are deeply personal. What works for one person may not work for another, and that's okay. Camouflage to Canvas makes no claims, warranties, or guarantees regarding emotional, psychological, physical, or any other outcomes related to participation in any program, class, or content.
